Ask Anya and Lara’s Look for Less
Tuesday, February 9th, 2010It's another episode of Lara's Look for Less and our "Insider" stylist Anya Sarre is bringing you another of Lara Spencer's fabulous on-air looks -- for a lot less! Today, Anya shares a tip on how to wear turquoise and tells you how many colors you can wear in one outfit. See below for answers to your fashion questions, and keep those questions coming! Question: Can you tell me who designed the dress that Samantha wore earlier in the week that was pink with the red patent leather belt? Answer: Samantha's fabulous look was Alice and Olivia from Loehmann's (www.loehmanns.com). Pink and red is a great color combination for Valentine's Day. Keep checking back for more tips on what to wear for Valentine's Day! Q: What shoes should you wear with long dresses? A: Depends on the dress! Pair a long casual dress with wedges or flats and if it is a formal long dress, wear it with peep toe platform heels. When wearing a long dress make sure it skims the floor and isn't too short. Q: Hi, would you please tell me, what is the best haircut for men with long hair? A: Try a short, clean, classic cut like Patrick Dempsey or Bradley Cooper. Save the long hair for the ladies! Q: How do you dress a tall-waisted woman who is a little overweight? A: Great question! Try wearing dark jeans with a long top or tunic. Wear black or dark-colored pants with a color on top to lengthen your body and stay in style! Q: Hi Anya. Lara had on an off-white blazer/jacket on tonight's episode 2/5/2010. Can you please tell me where it was from? Thanks. A: Thanks for watching! The blazer that Lara wore was from Nanette Lepore (www.nanettelepore.com). For a feminine blazer look like this one, try finding a blazer with a ruffle, embellishment, or a bright color! Look for Less: Sweater: Zara, www.zara.com Skirt: Forever 21, www.forever21.com Anya's Credits: Dress: Laundry, www.laundrybyshellisegal.com
